Nordic Components Compact Retractable stock for AK47 and Variants with Stamped Receivers.

The Nordic Components Compact Retractable Stock was designed to give the user a low-profile, ultra-compact stock option for their rifle.

Assembly Instructions

• Remove the dust cover and recoil spring from your rifle.
• Remove your rifle’s buttstock by removing the two screws holding it in place at the receiver.
• As your rifle’s receiver is stamped sheet steel, you may need to deburr the edges of the receiver where the stock adapter will mate.
• Insert the CRS stock adapter into the receiver of your rifle. Again, as tolerances on stamped receivers will vary, additional minor fitting may be required.
• Attach the CRS to the receiver with the two provided 10-32 x ½” fasteners through the two stock screw holes. Serviceable LocTite may be used for these fasteners to ensure a secure hold.
• Your CRS is now ready for use

Form and Function

• Once installed, your CRS stock will operate easily. Notice the push button on the side of the stock adapter. This button will control the lock position of the stock. To deploy the stock to full extension, simply pull the butt plate back until the stock locks. To shorten the length of pull or collapse the stock completely, push the lock button in and simply push the stock forward.
• Notice the 10-32 tapped hole at the rear of the CRS stock adapter. This hole is designed to accept a standard sling swivel stud.
